Parasites are persistent, dangerous and deadly, but for some reason, modern medicine fails to diagnose and treat them, leaving thousands of diseases to fester and infect humans. Many people think because they exercise and eat fairly healthily that they don’t have to worry about parasites infecting their body, but parasites don’t discriminate, and much of the time we are creating an environment in our body that is conducive for parasites to thrive. That’s why more people have died from parasitic infections than all wars combined, it’s just that nobody talks about it.
Talk about invisible and camouflaged foreign invaders. Parasites literally use heavy metal toxins to hide from your immune system, storing them in their biofilm like a camouflaged coat of armor. So, the first strategy for fighting and winning the war against the parasites is to detoxify your body of heavy metals, and filter them from your daily food regimen. This means owning a top-notch water filtration system, avoiding vaccines (that often contain mercury and aluminum), and eating organic food. There are many detoxification products and programs we will cover in this article also.
Most people think of parasites coming from raw sushi or meats that are not cooked well, and this is true, but there are many other sources where parasites thrive and end up finding their way into the human body.
People with pets don’t often consider this, but most dog owners think it’s cute to let their dog lick their face, including their nostrils and their lips. Oftentimes, this occurs just after the dog has urinated or defecated, and then cleaned themselves with their own tongue. Cats may have just used their litter box and have pieces of dirty litter in between their paw pads, then hop up onto the kitchen table or the kitchen counter, where their owners drop or cut food, then eat it.
Then, Western Medicine hubs are prime places for people to pick up parasites, including the hospital, doctor’s offices, long-term care facilities and clinics. This happens easily when people touch handrails, door handles, tabletops and food counters in cafeterias and work break rooms. These parasites can infect the eyes, ears, bladder, digestive tract, lungs, brain and nervous system. If untreated, parasitic infections can lead to anxiety, depression and death.
Symptoms of parasitic infections include stomach cramps, vomiting, dehydration, fever, lack of appetite, diarrhea, chronic gas, unusually stinky poop that floats and excess tiredness. There are intestinal parasites, such as protozoa, which are single-celled organisms, and also helminths, that are worms and larvae, including tapeworms, hookworms, pinworms and roundworms.
There are ways to prevent, stave off, fight and kill parasites. There are many cleanses available on the market, but definitely check with your naturopathic physician first on these. Wormwood is a great natural remedy that fights off both major classes of parasites, protozoa and helminths. Also, propolis, a resin-like substance made by bees, has medicinal and anti-parasitic properties also, making it the “kryptonite” of parasites, including worms.
Papaya seeds have been shown in clinical trials to be effective as anti-parasitic medication. Papaya seed porridge effectively kills roundworm eggs. Pumpkin seeds are also rich in berberine, plus palmatine and cucurbitine, all of which are amino acids known to destroy internal parasites because they have antimicrobial and antifungal properties.
Some superfoods are great for warding off parasites, including garlic and foods that are high in beta-carotene, like carrots and sweet potatoes, because they convert that beta-carotene into vitamin A in your body, which helps your system resist parasites, while fortifying your gut flora (good gut bacteria). Again, avoid any raw meat, including fish.
